Imran Malik is the newest member of Cohen Battisti who joined the firm in January 2008. He received his B.A. in Economics from the University of Kentucky in 2001, and then received his Law degree from Barry University School of Law in 2007.

While in Law School Imran was selected to the prestigious Moot Court Honors Board where he competed in the Saul Lefkowitz Trademark and Unfair Competition, Moot Court Competition in 2006 and 2007. After his performance at the 2006 competition, Imran was selected as the BEST NEWCOMER on the Moot Court Honors Board 2006. He was also selected to serve as VICE JUSTICE of the Honors Board for the 2006/2007 academic year. In 2007, his team achieved the SECOND BEST OVERALL BRIEF AND ORAL ARGUMENT Team and THIRD BEST Oral Advocacy Team at the Saul Lefkowitz competition, south regional in Atlanta , Georgia.

In his final year at Law School, Imran was privileged to work as a Law Clerk Extern to the Honorable Judge Walter Komanski of the Ninth Judicial Circuit, where he gained valuable experience in a variety of Family Law related issues as well as valuable insight into a view from 'behind the bench' which continue to guide him in his practice of law today.

In his final semester at Barry, Imran worked as a Certified Legal Intern at the State Attorneys Office in Orange County, Florida. His experience at the State Attorneys Office involved him assisting in the prosecution of various criminal cases.

Imran has had the opportunity to travel extensively throughout the world including numerous countries in Africa, Asia and Europe allowing him to be able to connect and communicate with people from all walks of life effectively.
